Amelie Monira has been drawing and painting since her youth. She found it easy to reproduce in art lessons at school and developed great drawing skills.<\/p>\n

At the age of 10, she mainly painted with watercolors and colored pencils. Amelie Monira felt a deep calling to become an artist and was very diligent in her studies of painting techniques. Growing up in a family of gardeners, photographers and nutritionists, it was natural for her to understand that beauty comes from within and that you have to practice something to perfect it.<\/p>\n

She has traveled all over the world to collect and process inspiration from different cultures. She later lived for several years in New Zealand, Mexico and Venezuela, where she met and learned from many different artists.<\/p>\n

Many online courses helped her to improve her techniques and it took a while for her style to develop.<\/p>\n

Today she lives in Meersburg on Lake Constance. In 2025 she completed the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute in the USA and refined her painting style to the loose, coloristic style she has today. She mainly paints with oil. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Amelie Monira went to school in \u00dcberlingen on Lake Constance in Germany and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management. She worked for several years in 5-star hotels in Berlin and in her family business on Lake Constance. <\/p>\n

Your painting will be delivered ready to hang. A hanging rope or hook is already attached to the back of the painting.<\/p>\n

It is best to hang your wired painting on two hooks that are about 10-20 cm apart (depending on the size of the picture).<\/p>\n

When hanging your artwork, make sure it is at eye level so that your wall is easily accessible and pleasant to look at.<\/p>\n

If you have a mixture of small and large artworks, arrange them to create a balanced visual flow.<\/p>\n

Depending on how you light your picture, it will look different. Natural ambient light gives your painting a pleasant atmosphere in daylight, which changes subtly as the sun rises and sets throughout the day. At night, on the other hand, you are completely dependent on artificial light.<\/p>\n

You have probably already noticed how great paintings look in a gallery. Art galleries use warm or cool spotlights to highlight the colors in certain areas of the painting and to intensify the light on the center of the painting.<\/p>\n

You can imitate this effect in your home by installing halogen spotlights on the ceiling above your painting. These lights are surprisingly inexpensive to install (an electrician can fit them in a few hours), and if you want, you can buy the lights yourself online.<\/p>\n

But even without direct lighting for your painting, the artwork will look good with a nearby light bulb. Works of art are easy to care for.<\/p>\n

Original paintings and decorated prints all have a protective varnish that protects them from UV light and dust.<\/p>\n

Simply remove dust from original works and art prints on canvas by carefully wiping the artwork with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.<\/p>\n

Small imperfections such as dents or pressure marks on the canvas can often be softened or even removed by lightly spraying the reverse side with water. This works best with a standard flower sprayer. After spraying, the canvas will smooth itself out by the next day so that dents and impressions disappear. <\/p>\n

If the frame of the canvas has warped slightly, for example if one corner is protruding from the wall, only hammer wooden wedges into two opposite corners on the back of the picture.<\/p>\n

The wooden wedges are inserted into the slots provided in the corners and carefully hammered into place to stretch the canvas. This makes it quick and easy to straighten the frame. If you are framing the picture with a shadow gap frame, this is also a solution. <\/p>\n

To ensure that you can enjoy your artwork for a long time, you should observe the following points:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Do not hang the picture directly above a radiator.<\/li>\n
  • Do not expose the picture to direct sunlight.<\/li>\n
  • For large formats, use at least two nails or screws that are fixed symmetrically in the wall. Do not hang the picture with a string or wire on a single screw. <\/li>\n
  • Only clean the surfaces with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.<\/li>\n
  • Avoid exerting too much pressure on the surface when cleaning.<\/li>\n
  • Never use glass cleaning products or, for example, glass cleaner. Alcohol with more than 5%, acetone, benzene or carbon tetrachloride, abrasive cleaners and scouring pads or brushes, harsh cleaning agents or spray cleaners for glass.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
