Description

Queen of colors

The portrait shows Frida Kahlo with flowers on her head, emphasizing her vitality and inner strength.

Her face radiates calm and confidence, her gaze is open, self-assured and directed straight at the viewer. She appears positive and beautiful, full of presence and dignity.

Golden elements run through the picture and give it a noble, almost iconic look.

The gold highlights their colorful shape and enhances the luminosity of the colors without masking them. The flowers stand for life, growth and hope, framing Frida’s face like a crown.

In this portrait, she appears not only as an artist, but also as a strong personality who radiates beauty, pride and joie de vivre.

The picture was painted in several layers with mixed media on wood.

40x30x6cm.

This picture is ready to hang and ready to embellish your home in a beautiful place. Treat yourself to a work of art that not only touches your walls, but also your heart. Perfect for your living room, bedroom or office – a highlight for any room.

Monira’s inspiration:

“My inspiration for my art is deeply rooted in my childhood, which I spent surrounded by nature on a large estate at the edge of the forest on Lake Constance. Plants and flowers fascinated me from an early age and I started drawing and painting them from an early age.

This passion was further inspired when my family specialized in bamboo plants with their nursery. Bamboo and other exotic plants have been a constant motif in my work ever since. For me, they embody harmony and tranquillity and have the unique ability to enchant any place with their beauty – be it in the garden or immortalized on canvas.

My art is an expression of this deep connection to nature and an invitation to experience the same peace and beauty in your home that I still feel today.”

More about the collection:

My new series is dedicated to women who look to the future with hope and strength. The works combine female portraits with flowers and plants that symbolize the close connection to nature and its healing power.

At a time when more and more women are suffering from certain illnesses, I would like to use my art to highlight the importance of turning to nature and using its resources for healing and well-being.

The series is a tribute to the beauty of women and the transformative power of a lifestyle close to nature. Typical for my art are the abstract backgrounds, which I skillfully combine with colorful plants and flowers.

These unusual contrasts create a unique visual experience and lend any room a cheerful and invigorating atmosphere.
