A blush of sensuality
The painting in multi-layered, gently flowing levels opens up a quiet, sensual atmosphere – a blush of sensuality.
At the centre is the portrait of a woman whose beauty does not seem loud, but calm and self-confident.
Her eyes are closed, as if she had surrendered completely to the moment. A delicate expression of pleasure lies on her face, as if she feels every nuance of light, color and feeling around her.
The composition unfolds in several layers that create depth and movement.
Warm bronze tones run through the background and envelop the scene in a soft, golden glow.
This warmth forms a harmonious contrast to the cool, bright blue flowers that seem to float three-dimensionally in the room. They seem almost tangible, as if they are slowly rotating around the figure.
Between them, filigree, golden butterflies dance – light, elegant and full of grace. They give the picture a special liveliness and make it seem as if the moment is not frozen, but in a gentle flow.
The work is aimed at women who consciously experience the moment – who understand sensuality not as something loud, but as a quiet, deep feeling.
It is a tribute to self-awareness, inner peace and the beauty that comes from allowing yourself to be completely in the here and now.
The picture was painted in several layers with oil on canvas.
40x40x4cm.

Monira’s inspiration:
“My inspiration for my art is deeply rooted in my childhood, which I spent surrounded by nature on a large estate at the edge of the forest on Lake Constance. Plants and flowers fascinated me from an early age and I started drawing and painting them from an early age.
This passion was further inspired when my family specialized in bamboo plants with their nursery. Bamboo and other exotic plants have been a constant motif in my work ever since. For me, they embody harmony and tranquillity and have the unique ability to enchant any place with their beauty – be it in the garden or immortalized on canvas.
My art is an expression of this deep connection to nature and an invitation to experience the same peace and beauty in your home that I still feel today.”
My name is Amelie Monira Egenolf and I am a freelance artist from Lake Constance. My very colorful painting style has many influences from my numerous stays abroad in South America and Asia.
Spirituality, love, family and nature are the main themes in my paintings, with the intention of bringing light, magic, beauty and new energy into the lives of art lovers.
I mainly paint with acrylic and oil paint and mixed techniques on canvas.
My new series is dedicated to women who look to the future with hope and strength. The works combine female portraits with flowers and plants that symbolize the close connection to nature and its healing power.
At a time when more and more women are suffering from certain illnesses, I would like to use my art to highlight the importance of turning to nature and using its resources for healing and well-being.
The series is a tribute to the beauty of women and the transformative power of a lifestyle close to nature. Typical for my art are the abstract backgrounds, which I skillfully combine with colorful plants and flowers.
These unusual contrasts create a unique visual experience and lend any room a cheerful and invigorating atmosphere.
