Every moment with you is my favorite story
An oil painting unfolds in quiet, almost dreamy intensity. At the centre are two figures – a couple embracing each other intimately, as if the world around them were disappearing at this moment.
Their bodies are not clearly separated from each other, but flow softly into each other, as if they were dissolving and at the same time re-emerging. The forms are kept abstract, lines and colors merge in such a way that the closeness, warmth, connectedness can be felt.
The night envelops the scene like a gentle veil. Above them stretches a sky, painted in swirling, lively brushstrokes in the Van Gogh style. Deep blue, bright yellow and shimmering white dance together and form stars that do not stand still, but pulsate as if they were alive.
The sky seems to move, to breathe – an echo of the couple’s emotions below.
The painting does not tell a concrete story – it is a feeling, captured in a moment that at the same time seems eternal.

Monira’s inspiration:
“My inspiration for my art is deeply rooted in my childhood, which I spent surrounded by nature on a large estate at the edge of the forest on Lake Constance. Plants and flowers fascinated me from an early age and I started drawing and painting them from an early age.
This passion was further inspired when my family specialized in bamboo plants with their nursery. Bamboo and other exotic plants have been a constant motif in my work ever since. For me, they embody harmony and tranquillity and have the unique ability to enchant any place with their beauty – be it in the garden or immortalized on canvas.
My art is an expression of this deep connection to nature and an invitation to experience the same peace and beauty in your home that I still feel today.”
My name is Amelie Monira Egenolf and I am a freelance artist from Lake Constance. My very colorful painting style has many influences from my numerous stays abroad in South America and Asia.
Spirituality, love, family and nature are the main themes in my paintings, with the intention of bringing light, magic, beauty and new energy into the lives of art lovers.
I mainly paint with acrylic and oil paint and mixed techniques on canvas.
This collection tells of moments that feel like small adventures – quiet, intense and full of feeling.
Each work captures the magic of love, not as something static, but as a movement: a constant discovery, loss and rediscovery in the other.
The forms deliberately remain open and flowing, as if stories only unfold when you look at them. Colours dance, merge and shine – sometimes gently like a fleeting glance, sometimes powerful like a heartbeat.
About love as a journey, in which every moment is a new chapter, and every feeling a small adventure.
